Project Overview:
The Training to Save Lives project involves providing crucial education and hands-on training to the Philippine Coast Guard personnel aboard the BRP Gabriela Silang (OPV-8301). The primary focus is on the application of CELOX products, including CELOX Hemostatic Granules, CELOX Gauze, CELOX Applicator, and FOXSEAL Chest Seal, to effectively control trauma bleeding and save lives.
Mr. Alain Canapi, Dreibund president, took the honor of introducing the CELOX products, highlighting their uses and advantages in stopping trauma bleeding. The training session was conducted by Mr. Aaron Flynn, EMT-B, IDIp NEBOSH, Grad IOSH, along with the assistance of Mr. Orion Flynn and the collaboration of BDRRMC ALAB, led by Mr. Michael Caparas and Dra. Tin Caparas. The program encompassed the comprehensive Stop the Bleed Program, equipping the personnel with essential skills to handle emergencies effectively. The initiative aims to enhance the preparedness and response capabilities of the Philippine Coast Guard in saving lives during traumatic incidents.
