Project Overview:
On March 14, 2024, the Office of the Chief Surgeon Navy, in collaboration with Driebund Corporation, successfully conducted the “Training to Save Lives – Bleeding Control” at the Seabees Multipurpose Hall, Bonifacio Naval Station, Taguig City.
This specialized training was tailored for Navy Hospital Corpsmen and Marine Corpsmen, aiming to strengthen their capacity to respond effectively to bleeding emergencies in both combat and peacetime scenarios. The program focused on equipping participants with vital hemorrhage control techniques, including the proper application of tourniquets, wound packing, and the use of hemostatic agents. By enhancing their first-responder capabilities, the training plays a crucial role in improving survivability rates and ensuring that life-saving care can be administered swiftly in critical situations.
