DC Med Trauma Field Dressing is a sterile dressing, to be applied to a wound to promote healing and protect the wound from further harm. It is sealed in a waterproof pouch to keep it clean and dry.
- DC Med Trauma Field Dressing consists of a large pad of light woven fabric that is designed to be applied over the injured area.
- The large light gauze pad has 2 long gauze tails meant to be tied around the injured area to keep it in place. This could be in the extremities like the arm, foot, or leg. Approximate size is 4inches x 7 inches.
DC Med Triangular Bandage is a meter size of cotton that is cut in half diagonally. Olive drab in color, it can be used in various ways as a sling or for the immobilization of broken bones and soft tissue injuries. This can also be used as additional padding.
