Project Overview:

On the 20th day of May 2021, a crucial Emergency Medical Responder Training with a focus on the “Stop the Bleed” initiative was conducted in Cabuyao City, Laguna. The training program, led by Mr. Alain Canapi and Master Trainer Mr. Aaron Flynn, was specifically designed for the First Responders team of Brgy. Banay-banay.

During the training, Master Trainer Mr. Aaron Flynn provided a detailed explanation of the process and methods of wound packing, emphasizing the importance of this skill in controlling bleeding effectively. Participants actively engaged in hands-on exercises, demonstrating the proper application of wound packing under the guidance of the expert trainers.

The practical application of CELOX Hemostatic Granules was a key component of the training. Mr. Aaron Flynn demonstrated the correct application of CELOX granules in a sample wounded limb, showcasing the product’s effectiveness in managing traumatic bleeding incidents.

Additionally, representatives from different agencies, such as a PNP SAF (Philippine National Police Special Action Force) representative and a PDRRMO (Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office) representative, actively participated in the training. They demonstrated the actual use of a chest seal, highlighting the importance of this skill in emergency medical response scenarios.

The Emergency Medical Responder Training – Stop the Bleed in Cabuyao City reflects a proactive approach to community safety and resilience. The collaboration between Mr. Alain Canapi, Master Trainer Mr. Aaron Flynn, and the dedicated participants contributes significantly to building a well-prepared and capable team of first responders in the local community.
