Project Overview:
Day 1:
The training program focused on introducing participants to essential emergency response tools and techniques. Attendees underwent comprehensive instruction on Celox Granules, Celox Applicator, Celox gauze, and FoxSeal, vital components in managing various types of traumatic injuries.
Led by The Dreibund President, Sir Alain Canapi, and Master Trainer Sir Aaron Flynn, participants were guided through hands-on demonstrations and interactive sessions. Esteemed partners including the Philippine National Police (PNP), City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), Public Assistance for Rescue, Disaster, and Support Services (PARDSS), and the Philippine Marines collaborated to ensure a thorough understanding of emergency response protocols.
Throughout the day, attendees were equipped with practical knowledge on applying Celox products effectively to control bleeding and stabilize injured individuals. The training fostered a sense of confidence among participants, empowering them to play an active role in ensuring community safety and well-being.
Day 2:
Building upon the foundational skills acquired on Day 1, Day 2 of the training program expanded its focus to include additional training on improvised tourniquets. Recognizing the importance of adaptability in emergency situations, participants were introduced to improvised techniques for controlling severe bleeding when standard medical supplies are unavailable.
Led by the same esteemed team of instructors and partners, Day 2 emphasized the importance of versatility and resourcefulness in emergency response scenarios. Hands-on exercises and scenario simulations provided participants with practical experience in applying improvised tourniquets effectively, further enhancing their ability to respond to a wide range of medical emergencies.
By incorporating improvised tourniquets into the training curriculum, Dreibund Corporation and its partners demonstrated their commitment to providing comprehensive and adaptive emergency response training. Participants left Day 2 equipped not only with the skills to utilize standard medical supplies but also with the ability to improvise and innovate in challenging situations, ultimately contributing to a safer and more resilient community.
